Suit GM LS Series Engine Into VB-VT Holden Commodore

Aeroflow's range of super oil pans available for the most popular V8 engines is the perfect choice for street or track-driven high-performance engines. This fabricated rear sump oil pan is designed for engine conversions. It is specially designed with extra oil capacity wings, which allow extra oil capacity without affecting ground clearance, helping maintain more constant oil temperatures for reliability. These pans may also be fitted with trap doors, windage trays, and crank scrapers, keeping oil at the pickup during hard acceleration and braking.

The Aeroflow Performance fabricated front sump oil pan is designed to suit GM LS Chev engines, mainly used in engine conversions in a VB-VT Holden Commodore. This oil pan can also be used in additional applications. It holds 6.12 litres of engine oil with extra capacity wings built onto the sides of the oil pan. The race pan has a female 1/4" NPT welded into the pan for a dipstick provision and requires the use of an aftermarket dipstick (sold separately AF64-2123 or AF64-2123BLK).

This race oil pan will utilize a different oil filter setup from the factory OEM location. Due to certain engine conversions, there is limited space and hard to reach for the stock location oil filter. Included in the kit is an oil block adapter with two female -10 ORB to run an external oil filter and/or oil cooler such as AF64-4112, AF64-2075 or AF64-2061 for example. This will need to be adapted to suit your application.

We also have several other different options available for remote mounting the oil filter (sold separately). The oil filter adapter block AF82-2022 is similar to the one included in this kit; instead of the oil filter hanging down vertically, it mounts the oil filter horizontally or at a 90-degree angle. The oil block AF82-2013 has 2 x female -10 ORB fittings attached to the block. This will allow an external oil filter and/or oil cooler setup to be run, such as AF64-4112, AF64-2075 or AF64-2061. This will need to be adapted to suit your application. AF82-2009 GM LS 90-degree oil block adapter allows two female -10 ORB fittings to be placed in a 90-degree (Horizontal) position. AF82-2030 GM LS slimline oil block adapter is perfect for tight clearances with -10AN male fittings attached to a very slim plate.

This race oil pan features a trap door setup to keep oil within the oil pick-up area under any condition. The OEM windage tray may be used with this pan or purchased separately from the Aeroflow Performance windage tray AF82-2020 for improved oil control in any application.

Aeroflow Performance makes an oil pick-up to suit this race pan. This is sold separately (AF82-2409). It will also accept the standard OEM oil pick-up (GM12572654).
